Aspartame administered in feed induces cancer in rats and mice

A study by Soffritti et al, published in the American Journal of Industrial Medicine, found that when Aspartame, a well‐known intense artificial sweetener used in more than 6,000 products, was administered in feed (prenatally through life span), it induces cancers of the liver and lung in rats and male mice.
