Stories of Success

“The ACLP is one of the best experiences I have had. It taught me life lessons that I wish I had known decades ago. As an ACLP alum I feel so very lucky in life. Thank you!”

“I knew changes were going to happen, but I think the extent is surprising me still. I’m happy about them. The whole experience renewed my faith in humanity. You learn you have to focus on what I can control. My food, my water, my Pyrex.”

“Excellent session. I continue to be amazed at what I didn’t know and how easy it will be to change to healthier eating.”

“I stopped drinking seltzer from cans and now bring water to work in a metal water bottle. I picked one up for a colleague, too. A bunch of us have lunch together every day and I talk with them regularly about what I learned in the environment section of this course. I try not to be the queen angel of toxins, so I limit myself to discussing it twice a week.”

“I found the online course to be incredibly helpful. It’s inspired me to make many changes to my life that I believe will improve my outcome. You have made a difference in my life.

“I am looking into Yoga as a result of our guest last night. I did not realize how fun and calming yoga is.

“I am taking exercise more seriously trying to do some form of formal exercise every day. I have lost some weight and an inch or two around my waist. I am fine-tuning my eating habits. When I am feeling stressed or tense I practice my breathing meditations with some success. I am focused on eliminating toxins in my environment and replacing them with safer products. I am worrying somewhat less and I feel more hopeful for the future.

The program is touching on all of my concerns in very concrete ways.  And it is helping me to cope with some of my fears about recurrence.”

“I am very grateful to have taken this course, it made me look at myself, it gave me new goals, new friends and it made me feel blessed! Thanks to all who work hard to make it happen.”

“I am excited to try to plan some meat free dishes – this is not a cooking option I have considered before but Megan has inspired me to give it a whirl.”

“I find it difficult to exercise when feeling achy from joint pain from the hormone therapy.  Now my new pedometer counts my steps, encourages me to exercise and have fun doing it.  We are also eating healthier and enjoy better tasting meals.”

The goal setting exercise and personal plan was an eye opener. What is your Purpose? I had to really think about this for a long time.”
