This study, by Zoeller and Vandenberg and published in the journal Environmental Health, challenges the longstanding principle in toxicology that “the dose makes the poison”, when it comes to endocrine disrupting chemicals, or EDCs. In fact, effects of EDCs are often observed at extremely low levels.
