Cognitive behavioral therapy reduces risk of mortality for breast cancer patients

In a study published in the journal Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, researchers Stagl et al found that women with breast cancer treated with cognitive behavioral therapy not only benefited from psychological benefits but had significantly reduced risk of all-cause mortality and breast cancer-related mortality, as well as longer disease-free intervals.
