Chronic inflammation causes 50% of global deaths. Exercise, Diet, stress reduction, and decreased toxin exposure can prevent or reduce inflammation

According to an article published in the journal Nature Medicine, diseases linked to chronic inflammation are “the most significant cause of death in the world today,” accounting for more than 50 percent of global deaths. These include heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer and dementia, among others.

However, making changes in modifiable risk factors such as exercise, diet, exposures to environmental and industrial toxicants, and reducing psychological stress, can prevent or reduce chronic inflammation.
