Mindfulness for Coping with Cancer

 

Dr. Linda Carlson, PhD, of the Department of Oncology at the Cummings School of Medicine, will introduce the concept of mindfulness and mindfulness meditation, and provide a summary review of the scientific literature on the benefits of mindfulness for people with cancer. She will also describe the Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery program.
